Garth Nix is writing Old Kingdom books again and I am feeling a powerful need to revisit my Abhorsen cosplay/halloween costume idea.

And I don't mean prophesying, out of pocket, queen with a vengeance Margaret from Richard III. No. I'm talking about Henry VI Margaret.
That woman has some of the BEST fucking mic drop monologues in all of Shakespeare in those plays.
She is a fucking force. Of. Nature.

Margaret of Anjou is one of the best characters in Shakespeare and folks criminally underestimate her. Fight me.

I have been having this exact feeling, but I can't put my finger on why!

I don't do anything on my paid sites or on commission that I don't genuinely enjoy the hell out of.
But I also don't enjoy some of those things -outside- of the context of my paid sites.
For example - I LOVE using honorifics like Daddy or Mommy or Master in SW, but not in my personal life.

I know you probably also agree and know this, and I agree - it was probably classified as that b/c it was gay men. And that's another way the leak of the definition of porn harms folks - giving excuse to call anything romantic or physical and queer porn..anyway. It just makes me mad.

I mean, yes everyone has a different threshold for "porn", but as a sometime purveyor of art nude, erotica AND porn, I think it is honestly dangerous to call one sex scene with no mention of anything more than butt "porn." It stigmatizes not just sex but bodies & is actively harmful to sw.
