This felt like Ironman did back in 2008. Like the start of something big and amazing. It feels like DC finally got it right. Like they finally gave us a truly magnificent chapter 1 of the grand shared universe, and I can't wait for chapter 2.

The Declanians in Stellar Empire have a sort of "traditional science-fiction" vibe about them. Which I love. It looks like something you'd see in old Twilight Zone reruns.

I'm getting irrationally mad that the panel hasn't figured out that Boogie Woogie is Andy Grammer. Even if the voice alone wasn't enough to give it away, that "English 101" book a few weeks back seals it. (Tell me the show is rigged without telling me 🤣)

World building is realizing that an entire kingdom has no depth and exists solely to be antagonistic to your main character's hometown. That, and putting new chapters on pause because the "bad guys" need champions too.

The Year (or Two) of the Novel The last couple years have brought a lot of big ideas, and a lot of introspection.

Decided to take another stab at writing the fantasy novel that's been on the back burner for far too long. Starting small with a target of 100-200 words a day, and the hope that I'll be able to pump up those numbers and finish the damn thing once I get rolling.

I should clarify that The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies, and it's borderline criminal that I have never seen Wicked in any form prior to today

I finally saw #Wicked. Sorry. What I think you heard was "I finally saw the movie." What I actually said is "I finally saw Wicked." Even knowing next to nothing about the musical except that one song and "Wizard of Oz prequel", it was a fantastic movie. I cannot wait for part 2.
