"Some believe it
is only great power
that can hold evil in
check, but that is not
what I have found. It
is the small everyday
deeds of ordinary folk
that keep the darkness
at bay. Small acts of
kindness and love.'

The end of the tour. I loved drinking in the history and beauty, but felt a little bittersweet. What will become of this house and what it symbolizes in the coming years? Will any future occupants live up to our national ideals? I have to find hope because I love this country and its potential.
