Good clients know what they want.
Great clients trust you to help them figure it out.
Closer look at the cards.

The idea is that the 3 cards move down on scroll and align horizontally to make sort of a features section.
Tempted to animate it on Webflow.
What do you think?
That designer or creator you look up to? They probably deal with the same doubts and insecurities as you.
The problem isnβt feeling themβitβs how you handle them.
They wonβt go away (and honestly, they shouldnβt), but you can get better at managing them.
Thank you Penny!

Thoughts?
How do you approach designing a homepage?
Do you focus on the look and feel first, or refine the structure before anything else? π€
What's your best productivity hack?

Sometimes, looking back is exactly what we need to keep moving forward.
Yeah, I feel like maybe I need to move faster and just keep going.

Both count.
How do you usually iterate on your designs?
Lately, Iβve been feeling a bit stuck at times when trying to generate alternatives for a project.
Would love to hear about your process!
Who am I to be giving advice, but one thing that completely changed my life in 2024 was signing up for a gym.
Itβs helped both my mind and bodyβand when those are in place, nothing can stop you!
One thing modular design taught me is to systemize my learning.
When I started with Webflow, I was completely overwhelmed. So I made lists of very specific things to learn, one by one, to understand the big picture.
I still use this strategy for learning new tools!
How long is too long to spend looking for the perfect typeface? π«

βFirst, getting to a decent design level.
βThen, landing jobs.
βThen, organizing myself better.
Now itβs all about improving my processes and onboarding.
I wonder whatβs next.
Doing stuff you donβt want to do is the best way to toughen your mind.
For me, consistently going to the gym has been the best discipline hack. Whenever I donβt feel like going, thatβs when I know I must go.
The more you push through, the easier it gets. πͺ
Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that our careers arenβt a race, theyβre a marathon.
The stuff that feels like a big deal right now, probably wonβt matter that much in the long run.
Just gotta keep going.
Thatβs like the horizontal section padding in Figma.
On Webflow it would be padding-global 7.5 rem.
Does that make sense? π
Iβm curiousβwhen youβre also developing the website, do you design the mobile version first or just handle responsiveness directly during development?

Progress is progress, no matter the pace.
Do you actually maintain decent posture while working?
Because I catch myself looking like a shrimp half the time.
Yeah, on Webflow I use REMs, was referring to the design in Figma!
16.12.2024 19:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How much margin do you usually use in your layouts?
I tend to stick to 40-80px, but lately, Iβve been noticing more and more narrow designs.
Just started a project with 120px margins and I have to sayβit's pretty damn good to work with.
Met a friend this weekend, and he said since his dad left his job to become an entrepreneur:
'Itβs like heβs on a constant side hustle, always doing side quests.'
Honestly, what a cool way to define entrepreneurship π
Great tip actually!
Breaking the auto-layout also helps, but is a bit annoying on dev.
Yeah! Definitely play aorund with more than one option.
But it's true, in most cases typography for screen is pretty standard.
