There are two magpies that live in the Big Tree a few doors down from me, and for the last few days I've watched them start to build their nest for their chicks. They both swoop down into my garden to pick twigs from the cherry blossom tree my father planted for me many years ago.

After a few weeks of no sightings I was blessed by a much younger visitor, which i am guessing was their baby! They usually live for 3-4 years in the wild 😊🕊
