Anyone else feel whiplash at all the Charlie Kirk right-wing fans sobbing about what a champion to free-speech he was and then in the same breath trying to curtail the free-speech of anyone who disagrees with them? The lack of self-reflection is stunning.

This is heartbreaking. Youth for Tomorrow is less than 2 miles from my home. I didn’t even think there could be children from there on these flights. I wish there was something I could do (other than rage).

My son had spinal fusion surgery at NYU a year and a half ago. It was traumatic and painful and he now HATES NYC…except for Ess-A-Bagel. It makes our follow up visits a little brighter. Yay carbs!

Our governor passed a bell-to-bell no phone policy starting next school year. I had a candid conversation with upset students on the last day of school about phones giving them too much of a crutch for their parents to solve their problems for them. They actually agreed with me!

I feel fortunate to work in a department where we “grade for growth” and really push the idea that failures help us learn. My students earn their course grades based on the mastery they have achieved at the end of the year. Struggle at the start but then start consistently earning As? You did it!

Cool. Now he has a chance to cover Trump’s cognitive decline more aggressively. Get on it, Jake!

Took a break from grading HS freshmen papers to rest my eyes for a minute, and now I’m crying. This poor girl. I’m so glad she is free now, but this should never have happened.
