i would LOVE to just talk about this game forever but tldr the art is amazing, music is amazing, writing is amazing, gameplay mechanics are very well intertwined, and the only thing I wish it had was voice acting, but that's a pretty difficult thing to get for indie studios

A company that created systems that keep your body degrading constantly, which is only delayed by a serum that only they possess. So you can delay your breakdown, but you will never be able to escape it permanently.

Though contrasting Cyberpunk, where there's some ridiculousness and genuine connections with the characters and loved ones, Citizen Sleeper doesn't let you have that reprieve.
Since you play as, essentially, a simulated human, you are literally property of a megacorp.

Citizen Sleeper is now one of my favorite rpgs, and most reminds me of Disco Elysium with it's primarily text-based/visual novel storytelling
The worldbuilding is bleak and depressing, and reminds me a bit of Cyberpunk with it being a sci-fi post capitalist setting
