heheh... (sitting on all my lore as I try to summarize somehow) they end up in a societally-established lord/knight dynamic where Osprey is legally bound to do as he says, but Betony's also a) "punishing him" for what he did and b) in it for the thrill of danger and pushing osprey's buttons ;)

Yeah!! I think for me I'm just way more auditory than visual, so I just have characters' voices and dialogue in my head all the time and everything I write is to try to serve that and make it feel natural.

Ohh I relate to you on this, I feel like we have very similar sensibilities in writing. I actually do also read mine aloud to friends sometimes to help me make sure I'm getting the flow right (and because it's fun for me)
