Feels like "der Vaterland" is telling us we have a Nazi problem. So, ya know... Maybe we should be following their lead and not the other way around.

Bloomberg Editorial Board: On a scale of 0 to Willie Nelson, how high are you?

Of course they can't ignore it. This bloated manchild just set fire to decades worth of work from dedicated public servants, all so he could self-deal. There is no bright side. It's not reform, it's repair. Fuck off.

I'm not being purposefully obtuse. The guy's a dick, obv.

However, it would be cool to have more AOCs out there (male/female/etc.). 🤔 I have an idea. Let's make this one president and then we can see how that plays out inspiring the next generation!

I couldn't agree with Mr. DiBello more. Taking the "high road" is a call from the establishment to protect the current social order for sake of social norms which serve their interests. It's merely status quo wrapped in a cloak of decorum and civility.

Sorry. Been down for a while. Someone tried to compromise my account, and I was locked out. I must have made some friends 😄

Pro tip: When under investigation, STFU.

Seriously. You're the best. I'm sure if, given the opportunity, you could prove your innocence... But that's not why they are talking to you.

They have a theory and want supporting evidence. Everything you say will be used to prove that theory. STFU.

Elon, after 4 years of clearly poor choices, I know you thought that firmly planting your lips on Trump's taint was the natural progression... But that left you with a bitter aftertaste and an embarrassing orange "glow". Maybe you forgot that you were supposedly a CEO, before you were "OfDonald."

‘Prepare for disruption’: Alabama leader warns of Department of Education closure Alabama schools and colleges receive billions in revenue from federal grants and contracts.

It's not just the funding that is Congressionally mandated (though it is). The entire Dept. of Ed. including the organization, structure, and how its run is mandated. Trump CANNOT shut down the department unilaterally. Don't let them lie to you!

If you want more details, too bad. The people who know can and will lie to you, because there's no way for you or anyone else to confirm. Everyone's ignorance of the truth is the precise reason for making the process opaque.

What it means is that peer review goes from being an open and scientifically rigorous process becomes closed and "politically" rigorous... Without hiring, NIH does not have the capacity to perform this task internally. Which means merit will be replaced by loyalty.

Expect the vast majority of grant proposals (e.g., R01s which are the life blood of the biosciences) to be rejected on specious and largely political grounds. If left unchecked, the academic sciences in the US might not survive.

NIH centralizes peer review to improve efficiency and strengthen integrity The proposed approach is expected to save more than $65 million annually.

And now for your hidden f#$k you of the day: with the BS going on at TSA, we almost missed the NIH. NIH is centralizing (i.e., removing the vast majority of capable scientists who aren't political appointees) from the grant review process.

Seems pretty straightforward. There is no reasonable doubt that Trump's actions against Zelenskyy only benefit Putin. In a sane world, Trump would already be impeached for crimes against his own country as well as Ukraine.

I'm just saying that NASA did so much more in the 1960s with so much less than Musk has today. If we hadn't cut funding to give billionaires/corps tax breaks, NASA would be well on their way to other planets. If we're gonna spend it now, then spend it on public benefit, not private profit.

If there's any one thing that I know about viruses, it's that viruses have an incredibly stable genome and are very resistant to mutation... As such, there is absolutely NO WAY that H1N5 can benefit from selective mutations/lat. gene transfer. This is not an instantly regrettable decision. #sarcasm

Putting aside how things are supposedly cheaper from for-profit companies... Congress, why in the hell are we spending public money for this? Didn't NASA work out NOT exploding rockets 60 years ago? Couldn't we spend this money on success for public benefit, rather than failure for private profit?

As I'm still required to send my weekly work product to an unsigned email address which is well known to be Elon Musk and his cronies, or get fired, this is performative theater at best.

And, if they're wise, those Dems will collect every single question and deliver them to the appropriate congressperson, both in hand and via website for everyone to see.

So, slashing of SSI and Medicare/Medicaid, closure of the Dept. of Ed, privatization of the USPS/Amtrak, defunding NPR, the WH crypto money laundering scheme, and Trump offering access at $5 mil per person.

WTF?!? Where are the Dems? What will be left in 2026, if you don't step up now?

Yes, I know that the US is not a party to the Rome Statute. However, Ukraine is a party and Trump has a lot of golf courses in countries which ARE a party and can enforce. ICC could try Trump as an individual (hint, hint).

Selfish is one thing. In fact, selfish is basically all Trump does. However, this is vile. This is tantamount to murder.

If this goes through, Trump should be prosecuted as a war criminal (e.g., Article 8(2)(a)(vii) under Rome Statute).
