I’m not sure why they ask. It seems odd. I had a bad job. I had a holiday. I went and trained to be a priest. I had a kid. My mother died. I don’t see the relevance.

a couple of teddy bears are hugging each other . Alt: a couple of teddy bears are hugging each other with one over hugging

Remember. There is always that friend or family member who will hug too tight. That does help.

This is the same for most academics. Too much to do. Too little time and in dire need of a break.

Yep. My colleagues are wonderfully patient. That time of year. Kids pass everything on

Honestly I think the most important thing is for us as parents to fight for what suits them. I simply don’t fight any more. We’ve had a few teething problems. Otherwise it’s been amazing.

I’ve found secondary school so much better for SEND. Better understand. Less fighting to get support.

I believe everyone should do things in their own time. What I mean is that some people find it easier to email in the morning. Just remember there is no expectation to reply if that’s not your time!

I'm sorry I'm just having trouble coming to terms with the fact that the CEO of this platform somehow managed *not* to be a billionaire techbro hellbent on shoving his head up the Republican Party's ass in an effort to curry political influence.

Thank you @jay.bsky.team

He was never meant to get that big. He’s very friendly and happy. He does like to give my husband a hard time. Listens to me.
Example. We want to close back door after dog has been out. Sees husband get up and bolts outside. For no reason other than to torment.
