As an outsider to coastal privilege, I do wonder if it's a pay-for-play deal. You get in, pay exorbitant fees, and then you just get a degree so that you can continue the wealth cycle. JD Vance having a degree doesn't actually speak highly of the quality of education.

I'm very curious how you graduate with a law degree from Yale and don't understand the fundamentals of how the courts work. I feel like maybe Ivy League schools should raise their expectations of their students a smidge? Maybe an elementary understanding of the law in order to have a law degree?
