Mais da metade dos municípios da Amazônia passou 2024 inteiro em seca Análise da InfoAmazonia, com base em dados do Centro Nacional de Monitoramento e Alerta de Desastres Naturais, revela que 459 municípios da região (59,5% do total) registraram algum grau de seca de 1º janeiro até 31 de dezembro no ano passado.

A seca moderada atingiu quase todos os municípios amazônicos em 2024 (96,7%). Além disso, 63% enfrentaram seca severa e 9,5% chegaram ao nível extremo, segundo dados do Cemaden analisados pela InfoAmazonia.
