It looks like someone just stuck a bunch of filters on someone else's more realistic photo. Reverse image search shows tons of hits with varying amounts of pop/saturation filter over-applied on the typical click farming sites.

Looks like a frequently edited/tweaked photo according to an image search. Lots of hits on Facebook/Instaspam, many before someone discovered their contrast and saturation sliders 😏

I specifically use a browser extension that blocks shorts from YouTube, and I patch the app on mobile for the same reason.

I've been visiting YouTube since the mid 2000s and I've yet to run across a "short" that I didn't regret clicking on.

Stick to connected devices that are locally run & hosted. If it needs an account/remote service to run, it ain't yours. Plenty of security and automated devices out there that'll run on your local network. If you want that type of thing, it's worth paying up front instead of recurring subscriptions.
