I like Alani quite a bit. Cherry twist is my favorite favor and it gives me a solid boost of energy without feeling jittery. Flavors are pretty crisp and don’t taste like battery acid but if you’re not used to energy drinks it could still be offputting.

I’m glad I wasn’t selected because I don’t think i could set my biases aside without really compromising some core values. I absolutely support the plaintiff in holding these tech giants accountable.

Was called in for jury duty and dismissed from this case today, and now that it's on my radar I'm definitely invested in seeing the outcome.

LA folks around Burbank: ICE is out and about in NoHo today, particularly at Home Depot on Sherman Way and near Burbank Blvd and Vineland. Be careful.

Seems unfair that you only get to use the bouncy slide to get off a plane when things have gone wrong. The bouncy slide should be a treat they give to the best passengers who did the flight correctly.

This was discovered while cleaning up after a mouse that’s been living down there too, so we have quite a number of maintenance orders to put in once we get back, yikes 😵‍💫

Nothing quite like discovering a leak under your kitchen sink right as you’re packing to leave for a 11 day trip.

Turned the water off and asked our neighbor looking after the cat to keep an eye on it. I don’t trust the landlord to take care of it while we’re gone and not let the cat out.

I think that’s what happens with me and I just never do a final check 🙃

So yeah, I thought I would be opening commissions to close out the year but this is holding me over. Nice way to close 2025 out!

Finished up some freelance boarding last week, and unexpectedly got a chance to do some inbetweening work this week, on paper no less! Feeling a little rusty and missing my old studio set up, but feels good to be flipping paper again.

Last doggy update: Eric/Whiskey's page went down yesterday after being updated to show he was with a foster for a few days before that. I can only hope that means good things and he has found a family to love and care for him. I hope he's being showered with love and affection every day now!

And for context, yeah that happened this morning as the cops raided our neighbors, supposedly for no reason per those same neighbors. I have no idea what the cops are claiming, we weren’t about to ask.

Time for a nap.
