Luffy

He only smiled at them. Luffy wasn’t upset at all. He was in as good of a mood as ever.

“No, don’t be. You didn’t do anything wrong. I was doing that thing where I don’t think.”

He shook his head. There wasn’t a chance he would be moving.

“She will understand. I talked to her. She is alright.”

His relationship with Ace means everything to him. They are his big brother, his hero, his best friend.

“I would love the company! You can always join us.”

He was grinning like a dope.

“It’s not any trouble. I will find something really cool and make sure Nami approves it first that way it isn’t something you might find too weird or something.”

He grinned at them.

“Don’t worry! I decided against it. It’s okay now.”

He finally lets go, but stays extra close to them.

“We don’t have to go anywhere. Really! It’s fine!”

He blinked.

“No. I am staying.”

“Ooorrrr….What if I brought you something from my travels? What’s your favorite island that you can’t visit as often as you want?”

He stays in place.

“Food sounds really good but not if you don’t feel valued. I mean it still sounds good. But I guess you’re more important than food?”

He stays clung to him.

“I am comfy now.”

-cause I would do that.”

He has done it.

“But, I don’t expect that from you either. Next time stop by and let Sanji cook a meal for all of us to have together, okay?”

He grinned at her.

“I really do appreciate it. But you don’t have to do stuff to be around me. Sanji cooks because I need him to cook for me.They know what I like better than anyone with food. I’d be lost without them. He is the one who makes sure the whole ship isn’t torn apart when I get hungry-

He nodded happily.

“We kind of had to if we wanted more than one bowl of rice a day. But it was fun! I got to spend a lot of time with Ace by doing that.”

“Oh he could! That might cheer him up!”

Luffy shrugged.

“Oh, we are best friends. She is super nice. She likes doing stuff for me but I keep telling her she doesn’t have to. I enjoy just being around her.”

Instead he remains clinging to Sanji. Stubborn Luffy.

“Thanks! This will be great!”

“Hancock is making breakfast now but we can have Sanji make us some for lunch!”

“Wait!!”

He leaps on them like a wild animal.

“I need you too!!”

“I was going to kill a wild bear and have a bunch of bear meat! Ace and I used to eat that all the time.”

He starts picking his nose.

“I was just going to make a fire and go kill a bear to eat….But Hancock is making me breakfast. I am still going to make that fire though I have matches!”

“Really!? Thanks, Boa!! Everyone else is busy with Nami’s panties.”

“I totally got this. I am not going to use the kitchen. Camp fire breakfast!”

“I guess I’ll make my own breakfast?”

“It was so cool! He took his head apart his head and put them in there!”

He paused.

“His head is going to smell after awhile if he keeps putting stuff in there. I wonder if he ever keeps snacks in there. Sanji! Help me check his head for snacks!”

He shrugged. These are the kind of things he doesn’t really think about.

“Umm. I don’t know. It happens and I am glad it does. I don’t question it, Sanji.”

-I am starving. But we can’t do any cooking in there either if Sanji isn’t in there. They will kick our asses if we start messing around in the kitchen.”

Luffy never really thought much before he spoke. He could say some pretty hurtful things without meaning anything at all by them. There was little filter to him, but he did mean well. He obviously liked and respected Brook or he wouldn’t have the guy onboard with him.

“Ohh!! That’s a good idea!!-

“Okay, it I always toss mine in with your laundry and you never complain about that. They always find their back to me. Like a boomerang.”

“I should have thought this a long time go.”

He thinks he did something smart.
