Yeah, that was the OTHER thing I was thinking about. I live maybe 10-15 blocks from downtown Baltimore, which is a good-sized city. Imagine someone living somewhere even slightly more remote with worse public transit!

YES. I went from living in Boston, where not having a car is easy (relatively), to Baltimore, where we PRETEND not having a car is easy and it actually isn't, and people would say "why aren't you just [x]?" about stuff where the answer is "because the bus trip would be two hours"

I dunno. Am I being unreasonable? I am not sure I can tell anymore. Every dunk on someone who is being CLEARLY unreasonable seems to come with a field of dunk shrapnel that is going to make someone doing basically nothing wrong feel like shit and that's why social media is exhausting.
