Begging FF14 to give me something to do in patches that doesn't feel like homework I already turned in.

It's not even like the other options (especially the Heavensward Mhachi raids) are better! They take longer and usually have harder fights!

It is that I am so fully OVER IT w/r/t Crystal Tower AND *every job in FF14 feels awful to play at level 50*

Three times today I have engaged the loop of

1.) Log into FF14
2.) Queue for Alliance Raids roulette
3.) Wait
4.) Get a Crystal Tower instance
5.) Leave the group instantly
6.) Exit game
7.) Do something else for 60-ish minutes
8.) Repeat

The idea of someone using an LLM to make an ANATOMY TEXTBOOK makes me want to leap directly into the sea and never return

Every time I open a Fandom page on mobile and am reminded that it was LLM scraping bots that killed antifandom I get angry enough to crush a steel beam in one hand

Hades II's Story is Very Disappointing At least so far.

Yeah the frustrating bit of early access games is you CAN get people writing criticism of the whole thing while the period where spoilers are a very common issue is ongoing

I know what it’s referring to literally, but come on. COME ON.

Maybe to put this another way: I think it’s totally reasonable to want a game that treats Greek myth with more gravitas, but I’m not convinced it would make Hades 2 a stronger fictive world.

And it’s hardly the sequel’s fault; Hades 1 featured the underworld with a literal cubicle farm and Zagreus had a literal assault rifle as a weapon.

No, it’s not true to the mythology. It IS part of the series’ charm, though.
