They fell off so hard after that buyout in 2018/19 (and NO it wasn't Covid that caused this, they got bought out a bit before Covid caused the lockdown with cutting plans set)

Yes other games may be of higher quality, but they don't tickle my brain in the ways Sunshine and DS2 do

Nintendo has yet to return the spin jump to it's former glory MAKE IT BUSTED AGAIN YOU COWARDS (why does it kill your speed in Odyssey whyyyy)

It's got jank, yeah, ADP/Agility could have been handled a lot better, but I think it's overhated
Having to dump levels into ADP for your roll to work seems bad until you realize soul levels are CRAZY CHEAP

Seriously, even at level 140 only costs about 25k to level up! It's not that bad

DS1/3 is more about your character doing something for the world, for others, but in DS2 the journey is about YOU
YOU'RE making this journey to find a cure for the curse.
The jump feels SO MUCH BETTER than 1/3 it carries so much momentum godDAMN
I prefer the animations in 2 a lot more, POWERSTANCING
