Conor Sheary has ‘nothing to lose’ as he looks to make Rangers roster after AHL stint When he hoisted his first Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2016, his linemate Sunday afternoon, Rangers rookie Gabe Perreault, was in the sixth grade.

Conor Sheary’s AHL assignment last season gave the 2-time Stanley Cup winner a new perspective.

Now, he’s looking to break back into the NHL with the Rangers.

“This was my No. 1,” he told The Post. “It was the first team we asked for a PTO.”
