One other lovely thing about @beckytarver.bsky.social is that back in ~2010 or so, I bought one of her teddies. Bless her, she included an additional "stowaway", called "Scrappy" who was a BTC first. Obviously Scrappy is with me to this day. But how wonderful is that? Becky is amazing! :)

In praise of @beckytarver.bsky.social

I've never met Becky TC. Becky is in the US and I am in the UK. Yet, from the moment I saw her teddy bears, it was fate. Becky has been though it of late; not deserving. Becky, thank you for all you've given me. :) Your bears are a huge part of my life. TY!

Using the TTY is the only way. Live in tmux. It brings consistency.

I’ve been trapped in #fvwm for years. I’ve not escaped yet. It’s torture.

I don’t think there’s anything afterstep did which fvwm couldn’t.

I’m currently looking at the #guardian #prize #crossword 29542, by Jack.

I’m probably two-thirds in. Rather tricky! No spoilers as there’s a week to go until next Saturday, when 225 will blog about it.

But some of the surfaces of the clues are simply brilliant.

Take it time with it. πŸ™‚

FWIW, if anyone wants me to just recreate what he’s done, let me know.

I saw this clue in the Independent on 2024-11-13 set by Eccles:

Back issues of Linux User magazine belong primarily in the past (7)

This is an excellent clue - and neatly references the Linux mag. still in print

As such, the answer is:

LUMBAGO

LUM + B + AGO

I’m going to be adding six monitors. This will help with #fvwm3 randr testing.
