Wonder what this might look like near the end of the year

Ran at a faster than normal pace, was challenging last 20 mins as I had to try push myself to sustain the effort and pace till the end
Average pace at 6:50/km
Guess this is what it might take to get times I want
1st week back in running and I am definitely feeling the effects of my week long break, I do find that I am limited by my muscular endurance in my legs as I canβt sustain the efforts and paces I want despite my breathing not being an issue
10.01.2025 04:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hmm so the S&P 500 earnings yield is currently 3.37% while the US 10Y Treasury bond rate are currently at 4.62%, so stocks looking overvalued relative to bonds imo
Think best for me to just focus on studying the companies I have and prep for future opportunities and just save up my cash
2025 Plan:
- Plan next monthβs training a month before
- adjust training based on how I feel on the day
- Incorporate threshold runs and threshold intervals
- incorporate workouts at 5K effort
- decrease rest between reps and increase distance per rep over time
- alternate between workout types
2025 goals:
- Get to $10,000
- Get to $12,000
- Beat the market (hopefully)
2025 plan:
- Donβt add any more companies
- Fully assess the ones I have through reading Quarterly filings and annual reports
- only buy more if under 100 EMA and/or under intrinsic value
- DCA into SCHG, VXUS, SCHD monthly
2024 definitely has been an amazing year financially for me too
In my brokerage account, gains and deposits (mostly deposits) have allow me to go from $609.42 to $4503.05 invested
Hopefully 2025 will be an even better year for me
2024 Times:
5K:
32 mins 25s β> 28 mins 18s (12.70% improvement)
2.4km:
14 mins 25s β> 11 mins 49s (18.03% improvement)
2025 goals:
- sub 10 mins 2.4km
- sub 25 mins 5K
- run a 10km race
- swim once a week on top of running
Hopefully similar improvements will follow in 2025
2024 Definitely has been an amazing year for my running
- Did quite a few 5km races
- Been consistent with running for over a year now
- ran sub 29 mins in 5K
- ran sub 12 mins for 2.4km
- ran 11km as part of a long run
- from 2 runs a week to 3 runs a week
- started a furry running group
Time for one final race tmr in 2024, letβs see how fit I truly am for the 5K post injury and test my fitness
A Goal: sub 27 mins (5:24/km)
B Goal: Get a time faster than 28 mins 18s
C Goal: Match the time of 28 mins 18s (5:40/km)

Need to maintain my fitness, think itβs probably time for me to get back into the pool to enhance my cardio further to hopefully help my running even even more
Today I did my 1st 5K specific running session 6 x 800 @ 5:00/km (aiming for sub 25 min 5K) with 2 mins rest, and the paces during the workouts, even though it was slower than what I wanted, I felt the effort was there so I maintained that throughout, need to repeat this session next week

Hopefully we will be able to grow more and more of them
50 mins of running total today
Hopefully can get back to running 45 mins to 75 mins non stop again
Slowly coming back running
Feeling really good but sore after todayβs run
Excited to get back to Almost normal base training type stuff
Hopefully start of next year, can start to push hard again
Think for the rest of this year, will just use the time to rest my body and make sure the pain is fully gone before I resume back proper training and prepping for races

But great for eeepy!!
Hopefully this week should be able to clock get back up to 2 sessions a week, with 40 mins of running
I just really canβt wait to get back to racing and proper training!! Am excited to start properly training again next year
