Meet our dragons!
23.02.2026 13:49 โ ๐ 15 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0you cant grow otherwise ๐ญ
23.02.2026 12:27 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0so I will show you how I can super quickly render dragons in little time after I have lunch
23.02.2026 11:18 โ ๐ 12 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0Every possible argument in favor or genAI being remotely useful in creative fields boils down to: you didnt know x thing we do to deal with that or you refuse to develop a basic skill (no, ai is not good to even just make color palettes or fetch good refs),
23.02.2026 11:18 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Every art problem you can encounter in art you can either devise a new little technique in your workflow or find that they already had ways to deal with that challenge centuries ago, this is why while you dont need art school to be a good artist you need to learn art theory and art history
23.02.2026 11:18 โ ๐ 16 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0So the workload is not all that heavy, and you dont need to adapt your style to our former artist.
22.02.2026 23:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0my perspnal recommendation? apply, specially with what you think you're comfortable as a 1 page per week pace, take also into account theres quite a good ammount of panels where you dont have to do anything since there might not have humans or just have to do two to three panels in a page.
22.02.2026 23:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0deadlines also depend on your style, so for example since I do heavy rendered dragons I do have deadlines that are perfectly feasible for me (even though I do work fast and have my tricks)
22.02.2026 23:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0sure!, I will ask my boss if I can share an image to have an example, but the human artist doesnt need to be this detailed at all (I am just clinically insane and work real fast at doing render), it doesnt require render, this is quite aproximate to the artist we had prior working on the humans
22.02.2026 22:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If this is a hot take the world has gone insane. It's wild how people will go and blame the victims, like no, the artists behind media are not the ones who need to "develop thicker skin" you psycho, how about you stop sending threats and harassement over a couple of pixels?
22.02.2026 09:31 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0dinos could be a good ref but komodo dragons not at all, since this neck is based on birds mostly, komodo dragons necks do not arch like this
21.02.2026 21:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0ty ๐
21.02.2026 21:02 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0These are my inspirations for most non human necks, when comes to dragons I specially love including that 's' shape to make it less human looking, the most important part is to increase the trapezius muscles so it can carry that non human head, then you can play with more slender or muscular necks
21.02.2026 21:02 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0there u go :)
21.02.2026 20:33 โ ๐ 49 ๐ 8 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 0las orejas me recuerdan un poco a un jaguarundi, me encanta
21.02.2026 15:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0sorry got a bit late for me but i would like to do it tomorrow anyway xD

20.02.2026 09:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0as in the way it arches or musculature? tomorrow when I get home I could sketch a ref for you if that helps you :)

aprecio mucho que le pongas aguijon al wyvern/guiverno porque no entiendo como eso que es lo que mas lo diferenciaria de un dragรณn es lo que la gente siempre se deja ๐
thank you! I was trying lasso tool with some gradients and tbh always looks quite pleasing to the eye haha
19.02.2026 22:06 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0thanks :)
19.02.2026 22:05 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0thank you!! I'm fod of the design tbh I think I have never done a character with multiple wings now that I think about it xDDD
19.02.2026 22:05 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0XD thank vallheim on that one not me kek
19.02.2026 15:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0a sketchy but colored dragon woman staring at the distance, armed with a big oval shield and a electric sword, her colors are deep red and turquoises that match the electric weapon and her eyes. She has four wings, because why not. She also has four horns, exposed teeth, a bit of lizard inspired striping and a white flat plated chest in the version without armor.
Never posted this one here but this was a doodle of a female anthro dragon I did back in the day based on my vallheim viking, Hallvor.

treat it like literally any other job, its there if you need money to help you out pursue whatever you want, the moment you can just stop doing it just stop doing it haha
19.02.2026 12:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is not different from dropping a crushing deskjob that kills your soul to pursue art, is just as valid, if you can afford stopping art completely, go for it, if you need to lean still a bit on it while you try to make a living off the thing that you actually love, well, nothing wrong with it!
19.02.2026 12:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I know art is vital to me and many others that work in the industry but it's considered as some kind of nearly holy aspiration and it's deffinitely not XD, is just like any other in the world
