It's funny how kinseviing started as an ice dragon because fire was ''too mainstream'' then later went back to being a fire dragon because suits my personality better xD

it's fun how the design even tho has changed has stayed mostly consistent, I really like your dragon

That's the problem, people perceive it all as cheating, repeating pannels, copy and paste parts and so on. It's not lmao, all their favorite artists do it, no one is painting pixel by pixel the magic the gathering digital paints fellas. And if you hide your tools they will never be valued

I know how it feels to waste a lot of time and feel frustrated because of the way some people will refuse to share knowledge so I try to be the opposite, I am happy to teach the secrets of the dark arts ☺️ 4/4

Is not half as glamorous as other forms of illustration process-wise to the public and many artists wont tell how they work because of the fear people will think they're not as skilled. This feeds the loop viciously. 3/ 4

Matte painting is about copying and pasting textures, often photos, onto your drawing then overpainting, tracing photos and models are also core parts of a lot of concept artists workflow, heavy use of textured brushes are also important. Is all about shortcuts 2/4

It's sad to read how many people had trouble learning art or stopped trying due to how much secrecy there is around how the sausage is made.

Concept art is diabolically guilty of this and had to learn a lot on my own, part of the reason is because core techniques of it are frowned upon 1/4

SPOILERS/ and how that has... more than mixed results. It was a really nice game, I love the capacity art pieces like these have to really put you in the shoes of others, hope you get to make more games in other jams and have fun!

SPOILERS/ I rly feel bad Swift cannot be himself back home nor has any irl friends he can truly be open with around there, the way things are in conservative places is heart wrenching, I'm not surprised he has to try to cram everything he is and wants in three days

SPOILERS/I played the game and it's very eye opening, every department is great, love the art and specially the writting. It's very human and honestly it's also incredibly sad, the last part made me think that with such a bad experience its brave of the protagonist to try again.
