Impatient, but caring, loves his trainer to bits. Used to be a very insecure charmander. Bellow them there's a colored sketchy cute drawing of La Bixa (ekans) resting on dovo, pushing herself against their head an back trying to show her affection, making the kid complain and loose a bit their balance. Blaze, the charmeleon, is laughing.

A colorfull drawing of Dovo (my trainersona who started as a kid in FireRed and now is a 22 years old adult in this game) and their Ruby starter, Pine, a female treecko based on a leopard gecko, the most common domestic species of pet geckos. The trainer is badly singing in some karaoke, wearing a futbol shirt, shorts, fingerless gloves and sporting quite a good ammount of scratches and bandaids. They have brown hair and their skin is quite tanned, showing way lighter under the clothes. Attached to their belt there's two cute keychains of their other starters, blaze the charizards and chompy the feraligatr

Dovo: (they / them pronouns) -22 years old, still gambling -smug -adrenaline junkie -kind, specially to pokemon -massive softie, but absolutely shameless. -jumps from 0 to 100, either napping or about to jump off a cliff. -agente mara (office jenny in the english version) deserves a medal, this idiot keeps causing bike accidents. There is a little sketch of their orange eyes, the notes say: slit pupils and pointy canines like some dragon trainers, otherwise quite normal looking. Uninterested deappan expression usally. There is a sketch of Creecher, a Sableye holding a mirror and tilting its head at the same time Dovo does, with a quizzical expression. Dovo is trying out the clothes of the ruby protagonist, then turns towards the sableye who waits for an answer about if they like it or not. Dovo takes the hat off and says: "Nah, it doesn't suit my style, but thank you"

Pine, female treecko. -Very food driven. -Gets stuck in trees. -Not very acrobatic, but that won't stop her. There is multiple sketches showing the leopard gecko inspired treeko with dark spots over the green and some yellowish areas, she is on a tree, either yawning or complaining, in another she is walking standing on her hands, tongue out and in another she is trying to roll forward, falling a bit hard. In the last one she is walking in all fours (she always does, my design is more animalistic than bipedal) then stands on her hind ones the second she hears it's food time, her eyes changing for a very thin slit to a very dilated pupil, licking her face.

Pine, as a grovyle, the notes say: No longer gets stuck in trees, but we would like to call jurassic park, because this must qualify as a lost raptor. The grovyle design is heavily inspired on raptors. Dovo is trying to eat a sandwitch while Pine is staring, as pine's pupils dilate and starts doing circles around their trainer dovo already suspects what is comming, and soon enough Pine tries to steal the sandwitch, dovo putting their hands on their face and pushing back while screaming at her something akin to '' GIRL NO'' in english. Under the drawing there is a sketch of Dovo with a little nincada on their hands, gently trying to help the little insect, the notes say: Found a little nincada that seems to have trouble molting, decided to keep her only until she manages to evolve.

Meet Dovo and Pine!

Skeledirge (crossed out to show the new name of my version: Abrasallona) The main drawing depicts a very crocodile like version of skeledirge, with lots of colorful mosaic scales, striking butterfly wings of fire (with the usual spots in the wings looking slighly more like a blue fired gas stove) and a more animal like face and body, with a patch of black and white on its head as a nod to nuns. The musician inspiration is nowhere, there is no microphone bird nor piano/lute chest and it no longer looks like a Día de Muertos alebrije. It remains quadruped and fire sprouts from its mouth like in the original. It has the same color scheme than the original roughly with some added blues. The text says: The legends tell of a priestess of great virtue, that by sparking both ire and jealousy in her sisters was unjustly confined in a terrible dark, damp cell to live... and die. Scales grew on her, illness and hunger, but no matter her appearance now, her purity, kindness and righteousness sparked a fire to warm her, and beautiful wings crowned her. Not even death would douse her spirit. This is said to be the first Abrasallona, and no matter the truth about this pokémon its warmth will never leave it, nor its trainer. Its presence is calming and pleasant, which earned it the nickname of the "Blessed Pokémon" Bellow the text there is a series of inspiration references, the original design of skeledirge, the Gaudí lizard, spanish nuns, crocodiles, butterflies and a cocollona painted on a building, a croc with buttefly wings from catalonian mythos. Another note is bellow it that says: It can perfectly remain Fire Ghost type since the Cocollona is a ghost herself, but I admit it would be fun to make it Fire Fairy type.

Hi fellas yesterday I decided on a whim to redesign #Skeledirge from #pokémon for fun. Meet Abrasallona.

I made a lot of design choices with my version, including getting rid of all mexican inspired parts of said design, you can my reasons and design choices/inspirations in the first comment!

people should be able to enjoy characters whose designs are meant to look like regular people that are not meant to be enticing but you could see irl

tbf she's not made unatractive, she just has a medieval haircut that many men wore because she's a knight and is practical.. you probably don't mean it that way but it's kinda sad that no one minds a male character design purely based on being pragmatic but will not acept that on a female one

You're not fully wrong either, USA is in a very advanced capitalistic nightmare and under the thumb of an insane dictator, healthcare is non existant, education is so shafted theres legit people denying evolution, theres concentration camps... next to that we're heaven, but we're far from perfect😅

Those who just want to make a living here and work here and be with us and respect us like people and try to learn our language are always welcome.Extremely so, we jokingly say we 'adopt' any foreigner who is nice and tries and engages with us. Real Immigration is extra welcome

those who refuse to learn our language or even interact with us in any respect that is not regarding us as servants and isolate themselves and create entire colonies that push us out to the point you cant speak spanish because everything is in german and they dont want you around

The only problem is the people who will buy many flats to abuse renting practices, which not only hurt people born here but anyone who came to live with us as well. The problem is people who buy vacation houses, those who want to get rich out of our misery,

It's quite easy to spot, specially people who will try even if its clumsily to speak spanish (theyre adorable and I will fight for them) (or catalá or any local language, theres a long story of fascism trying to kill those so they will appreciate your genuine attempts)

And when you visited you might have noticed the change in attitude everyone has between a tourist there to be an asshole and someone who is there with conscience about these issues.

You would be welcome here in the south, and sure, probably there as well. The problem will never be people who want a better life or to simply live here because you love our country, Spain is the way it is because of the cultural diversity, if anyone gets xenophobic with you guys they can go to hell

I cant talk for them, but talking for myself as a spanish person: I'm sorry for your situation in USA. Theres many people from many countries searching for a better life and theyre ALL welcome, be it from north africa, ukraine, usa, palestine... ANY country.

Also eat the landlords and Airbnb and absolutely fuck off to anyone that comes here only to get drunk and throw trash in our streets, we are not a theme park of robots at your service, we are people. Remember our situation, act with empathy.

The lack of tourism control is killing everything, I want to share my culture and food with you, our art, our music and beauty and warmth. I want you to feel welcome, but not like this, and not at the cost of not living myself. Most regular tourists are not malicious just uninformed. Support us.

If you come to this country, do not buy from them, buy from local shops, spend ONLY there. Avoid Airbnb, dont go to the isles, and remain respectful, engage with the culture of the people that cant live in their own cities and dont contaminate our nature like others do.

Theres so much money in Spain due to tourism, yet buildings collapse in disrepair while small local businesses are devoured by supermarkets.

Climate change floods us with water due to the lack of those trees. Small beautiful towns become sprawling monsters of cement that remain empty, and old people who lived their entire lived there are forced out and so are their sons and daughters.

all our beaches become extremely polluted, all our fishes get overfished, our forests fall to the axe to make space that is not feasible for houses that remain empty except a couple of months a year while we ourselves have no place to sleep.
