I've seen a few YouTube videos on how to build an enterprise security program, and decided to do my own. I simply took one slide from the first day of my SE221 CISSP Fast Track course, and talked through it for a few minutes. See youtu.be/6u8thFkTfv8

Having been dropped by a major media corporation 2 years ago, I can relate to what Jimmy Kimmel is going through. I can also share the news that since becoming independent, I have a bigger audience than ever before. It turns out people want to listen to uncensored voices. Oh, and fuck Disney/ABC.

Hi, Margaret! Lovely to hear from you!

Yes, I've been fighting the good fight for democracy and against disinformation for many years now, but it's an increasingly thankless task. The problem is that I also use FB to communicate with old friends, and I would miss that a lot. :(

I hope you're right. After over 16 years (roughly) on Facebook, after posting a few pithy comments about freedom of speech, my account has been locked. I can't imagine which "community standards" I may have violated, or whether I'll be able to get back in again.

Well, it appears that after posting a few pithy comments about freedom of speech, somebody is accusing me of breaching "community standards" and I've been temporarily - perhaps permanently - booted off Facebook.

So if you're looking for me, now you know.

As a confirmed Bayesian, almost all of my beliefs - the things I 'know' - are conditional. The more supporting evidence I have, the less uncertain I am, and the stronger my belief. Pretty much the only things I know with absolute certainty are in the domains of mathematics and mathematical logic.

It’s β€˜the intelligence age’, say tech titans – but information will not save us It’s claimed that more information can solve our crises, from climate change to Gaza. But the world today shows how this vision of reason has tipped over into unreason, anger, and barbarism.

From this point on, elections will have to be won ny manipulating emotions, not making intellectual policy arguments. I wonder how Steven Pinker feels about rationality and the Enlightenment right now? theconversation.com/its-the-inte...
