I'm a rock nerd and like to collect banknotes, and one of my favorite localities is the Lavrio mining district, its really cool and has a rich history

It was mined in like the 3000s or 4000s BC, but around the 500s BC Athens used it to fund their navy and build the Parthenon, theres more, but yeah
