I do write Fantasia positions to be diegetic though. We have enough evidence with the mysterious potion seller in Ul'dah, and the HW ALC quests give lore that even using a fanta can't change the colour of one's aether so in-world consequences would still exist for ppl who use them.

The only time I've used a Fantasia on Kitali was to change her voice to a deeper one and to give her darker under eye circles. I'm considering using one of the free ones to change her birthday to match an actual Sagittarius date. None of them are canon to her.
