( she picks herself up gracefully and proper, taking her straw hat and placing it atop her head. )

whatever it is, though, it had her feeling woozy now. she stumbles over her own feet and falls against a wooden pole of the dock. she groans before collapsing to the sand below, unconscious. )

( the wind gently blows as the ferrywoman ties her boat down to her makeshift dock. she hums to herself, taking her time tying the rope into a strong knot. )

( she chirps in success as she stands. she really hadn't been feeling too great on her voyage, assuming it's her illness.. - -

on her side. whimpering, she holds both hands to the wound, trying to to hide the ichor leaking from the broken flesh. she winces with each step. she just needs to make it back to her cottage. the river's water will heal her. )

( though rare for the ferrywoman, she is not immune to injuries. when it happens, she finds it rather embarrassing. a gentle and cautious entity like her shouldn't end up hurting herself. )
