I had my first go on an electric mountain bike today. Quite different to the 18 year old 26" hardtail I'm riding at the moment. I'm not sure if convinced about e-bikes for forest trails to be honest. It seemed very heavy! But cool tech, nice uphill, but I think I'll stick with "man power"

Looks awesome, nice car too! I need to do mine this weekend. This was after a day in the car park at Goodwood Festival of Speed. I'd cleaned it the day before too! 🤣

I've got about 100 saved on the sky box, brilliant accompaniment to late night working 🤣

Ah its probably different anyway, I don't think ours has a vent on the side. I guess that's the a difference between the Warrior and Arrow cowl. It might well be longer too.

Another 10 miles of The Essex Way completed this weekend, from Salts Green to Great Waltham. Lovely (very flat!) countryside and equally as good weather.

Out for a walk in the Essex countryside and thus beauty flew overhead at 3500ft. I do miss seeing the "jumbo jet"

Ouch, not good but sounds like you've found yourselves a nice replacement. Our annual is mid summer, hopefully no major issues! Parts do seem to be a problem/expensive! Are you breaking your old plane for parts? I wonder if the engine cowl would suit a Warrior II?

Not all your time needs to be billable. I've listened to long podcasts while out on a walk or doing some home on the house. You can read books for enjoyment as well, it doesn't always have to be about gaining knowledge. Take a break occasionally 😉

And reading books, watching films? Just summarise it all with AI? Where's the enjoyment in that?

Started walking The Essex Way this weekend. First leg completed, 8 miles from Epping to Chipping Ongar. We will do another section next weekend, hope to complete the 82 miles over the next couple of months.

A fair bit of wind, 310 degrees at 19 knots gusting 29 knots. EGSR were on runway 24 today. Thankfully there were periods of lighter winds and it did back a little as the day went on.

Another day of decent weather, although a bit windy. Managed to get out in the plane for the third time this week. I'm making up for 3 months on the ground!
