There isn't much in the way of a guide, but you actually get one of the two weapons to break walls in a cut scene so you can't miss it. And that's the only one of the two required to beat the game, but you should still explore everywhere anyway. You never know what you might find...

Regarding range, the stats are set correctly in the files. It could be that they're truly bugged and they just always were in the original game. My hunch, they do work but don't do much. Range upgrades don't increase the Range stat very much. Unfortunately, Roll will continue to price gouge us all.

Hey there! Thanks for letting us know about this. Patch fix is coming soon. I can confirm that the patched game will update the early unlocks and cheap prices even if you continue to use an existing save. The Junk Shop owner's prices will be as ruthless as ever.

It finally happened! I am so excited and so happy. I really hope everyone enjoys, this is such a thoughtfully made game with all the personality and charm of the rest of the series. It never deserved to be lost and I am so glad that it's here for any and all who want to play it now.
