Forgot about the sliced peppers that needed to be eaten today. Friday afternoons are for everything that can’t get packed in a school lunch the next Monday. Also, apparently I’ve had this philosophy for a while now.

Perfect dad lunch today: finished off a bag of Hawaiian rolls and the last two slices of Swiss cheese and also the “is this too old to eat?” crock pot chicken.

The 2024 campaign signs across the street from me came down this spring in exact concurrence with a specific news cycle. Could not have been coincidence.

We attended an amazing CSO concert tonight. Listened to the Blue Jays feed of G7 on the way home. At the most tense moments, they threw it to the third guy in the booth for hockey scores and a CFL update.

My wife says one per year K-8. My number is probably twice that total, but can’t remember any in high school not tied to curriculum.

My kid crashed (after like 90 minutes of doing homework during baseball) and although he missed innings 11-17 or something managed to be awake to see the walkoff live. Early wakeup call today for the baseball team lift session at 7. I’m wrecked but giddy.
