If you are an ex republican in #ohio who "saw this coming" and have felt out of place ever since MAGA became a thing....we need to connect.
The only way to fight the decimation of our constitution and country is by joining the democrats.
Say hi, and where in Ohio you are, and join the resistance.
@amyactonoh.bsky.social thank you for running for Governor. We need a leader who will stand up for everyone, not just the wealthy, and will be a voice of reason amidst the clamoring of those aligning with the insanity of MAGA.

The answer is no, I don't. And that bothers me, because I should. If my desire is to be more Christlike, then I should be striving to extend God's grace to others with the same measure as He gave me His grace. And my prayer is thag with every I interaction I get better at doing so.

Do I extend that kind of Grace to others?

It's Sunday, so I want to post something that's not political for once.
I've been thinking about this a lot recently.
While I was still a sinner God extended His Grace to me. He didn't reject me and say "come back when you are worthy", because then I never would have come to Him.

As someone who's lived in countries where you couldn't say negative things about the leader for fear of being arrested, or worse, it troubles me that more people aren't troubled by the idea that some people would be happy for America to have a King again.

Yet what President Trump and the White House jokingly hail Trump as a King people forget just how repressive a monarchical system is.
248 and a half years ago America broke free from the tyranny of the British Government and the influence of the King.
I get that it feels like a long time ago, but in historical terms it's really very recent.

If Trump becomes "King" do his supporters know that means July 4th will need to be canceled?

America was founded based partly on the belief that to have freedom people did not need, or want, a King.
At a time when Trump is claiming that democratically electes Zelensky is a "dictator" he is also claiming to be a "King".
It makes me wonder if Trump knows what democracy is, or if he cares.
I was at a meeting this morning and one of the J6 convicts (a local Pastor) was in the office.
It took all of my strength to keep my cool and not say something horrible. He and his wife were thanking people for their prayers. They were acting as though he was a hero, or that he'd been a hostage.
Many of Trumps assertions are highly problematic. But this one might be the most problematic.
"When America is strong, the World is at peace".
The World has never been at peace...ever. Ergo...America has never been strong?
The last time the World was at peace was the day Noah exited the Ark.
My Review: Used to be great as "Gulf of Mexico". Has gone way down hill since the orange clown changed the name to "Gulf of America". Shame on Google for giving in to the pressure of a bully.

I want to start a movement called "Take Back Tuesday". This Tuesday I'm doing a passive aggressive protest of Google and GoogleMaps by posting a review of "The Gulf Of America".
My review and the "How To" is in the comments.
My goal in life is evolving. It used to be to "Help hurt Christians heal" and my "ministry" was geared towards people with church hurt.
Now I'm finding myself more and more speaking out against the sources of that hurt.
So my posts are a mixture of uplifting encouragement and righteous rage...
