Cyrrene will definitely reach 100 books read this year, btw. We spend most of our nights hanging out together and reading, it's great.

Just reading without any goal in mind, I have read 68 books this year, including monsters like Infinite Jest.

I wonder if I should try for 100 books next year. I don't want it to compromise my reading quality, but I think it's within reach if I spend less time on games and more on books.

Oh dear, after watching NL play Mahjong Soul, now I kinda want to play it.

I learned the basics of Mahjong as a kid, playing with my extended family, and it's making me a bit nostalgic.

I showed Cyrrene some of the new AI video stuff and she, without missing a beat, said, "We're in the age of post-reality TV."

I sometimes come across these reminders of how things were in creative spaces back in the day, and I can't help but be nostalgic.

There is actually a ton of hidden history for many of the creative works we enjoy today, and while perhaps the ones I mentioned are more oughts to 2010s, I think if you look, you can find them.

That's because back then, the online art communities were quite small and people knew each other.
