I don't think it's unnecessary. But you can continue to make milk and other imitation products using nuts... which btw require more water than any other harvest to farm, causing droughts..look at CALI the largest almond grower in the world. It all takes from somewhere, we have to find balance.

Can I judge her by the poor makeup job that she is following by Trump. There shouldn't be a ring of white around your eyes and mouth! Color match people!

Democratic House Rep. Debbie Dingell says people need to "stop bashing people because they're old."

That's fine.

I stand by saying that someone who was just diagnosed with cancer shouldn't have been appointed to a leadership position over AOC.

I know my dairy doesn't do that. They have a retirement zone for the ladies.

I do hear you. And I do shop from a local non commercial or "big commercial" dairy and don't see this to be true. But I can see how a dairy for Borden or larger can do this. I was in 4H and know kids in it today that raised calves and know them into adult years at diaries, it's more family based.

OK. And I am not arguing. Just trying to gain perspective. They don't appear distressed. Vegan life is great. But thinking of human momxs that can't nurse, etc. Is this so bad?

Wow, I never knew he said this.

Jimmy Carter was ahead of his timeβ€”a man of unmatched kindness and integrity. Truly, he was too good for us.

Also, I do know the daily life of a dairy cow at a good farm is pretty free. Meat cows and steer... not so great.

I don't know enough about ag here. We have progressed in terms of branding and milking style. We know raw milk is bad. So.... how do we expect her to know if a cow is preggers and shouldn't be milked? Not saying it couldn't be better, but do you have a solution?

Following Jimmy Carter's passing, his official portrait at the White House has been draped in a black veil, with flags flown at half-staff in his honor.

A poster with the text "Workers' Rights Are Human Rights", a red rose, and the outline of a worker holding a writing utensil and something to write on.

Many workers are treated unjustly, earn unlivable wages, and experience unsafe working conditions. Much progress has been made, but there is still work to be done, especially in the context of poorer nations. Corporations and the rich want to roll back worker protections to maximize their profits. We know how workers are treated without adequate regulations: like disposable cogs in a machine. In the United States, before the New Deal Era ushered in by Franklin D. Roosevelt, there was no minimum wage, social security, widespread pension plans, rural electric cooperatives, or federally insured bank deposits. Pre-1930s, workers were often injured or died due to inadequate safety standards and union-busting was the norm. Workers were expected to stay on the job for long hours often exceeding 12 hours a day and children were part of the labor force. Should we allow the wealthy to reverse progress and return to such a time? The answer is no. Do not allow your rights to be taken away. They were fought for by brave people throughout history, and they must be protected by the brave people of today. Rights must be safeguarded after they are won, or they will be at risk of withering away. Workers' rights are human rights.

What!!! I loved it, I wasn't sure that I would. I actually saw it twice in theatres because a friend really wanted to see it after I had. There were so many jokes that I missed the first time because I was laughing so hard. Truly a girl power movie!
