Meta just totally throttles it. Inkwell on YouTube just did an interesting breakdown of what social media is more or less viable for artists now. Apparently artists in parts of Asia are getting reach with twitter still while it's dead in the west because so many Americans just won't use it at all.

I feel pretty similarly. I totally abandoned Twitter a while ago even before it went full nazi. Zuckerberg is a malignancy, but Instagram still has some limited reach for art and some efficacy for actual information getting through from situations like Gaza. Wouldn't surprise me though if eventually

Well, food is about to get a lot more expensive, and I manage stress by info-dumping, so I'm gonna share some of the survival strategies I learned spending my first 30 years food-insecure:

First: Cooking in large quantities and freezing some for later is more cost-effective than cooking every day

If your art uses halftones, don't adjust the resolution after you've applied them or you can end up with moire patterns in the art. The prepress tech I worked with recently on an anthology submission asked for files with art, balloons, and editable text on 3 separate layers as well as any font files

If you're doing color, make sure everything is in CMYK color mode and not RBG, and that it looks okay in CMYK if you've converted it from RGB. Most comics are at least 400-600dpi resolution - lower might be okay for web, but looks poop in print.
