Amazon's tax bill plunges after GOP tax cuts The 87 percent drop is largely due to a more generous depreciation break in the 'One Big Beautiful Bill Act.'

Trump is giving tax cuts to Bezos but none to you.

The tantrum was carried live, in his press conference. And we all saw it, as we saw the insurgent invasion of the Capitol on January 6 (which also didn't happen, apparently).

I don't know if there's a Dem consultant who is going to come up with a better way to say it than, "We were paying an illegal Trump Tax on pretty much everything we buy." Makes you wish Democratic politicans could repeat things.

-Brought back more jobs than Trump with the Inflation reduction act and Infastructure bill and chips and science act
-Refused to give Israel cluster bombs because he values human life

I don't care what Party you are in-
booing the Vice President of the
United States at the Olympics, is
embarrassing for our Country. You
don't have to agree with someone's
politics to show basic respect for the
White House and America. We can
debate policies all day long, but
acting like this in front of the world
makes us look small, not them. Do
better.

If Steve Bannon is desperately trying to spread a particular message far and wide, maybe consider why, and also whether _not_ helping him do that is an option?

The Semafor write-up makes it clear. The WaPo was doing well as a speak truth to power paper, but Bezos didn't like that and so decided to destroy it, beginning with the decision to not endorse Harris. www.semafor.com/article/02/0...

I've canceled #washingtonpost twice, and been lured back by cutprice offers and hope. But why should I continue to subscribe to a newspaper that doesn't have enough reporters to be useful? The cheapest offer will be too expensive for what it's worth, and I'm out of hope for this Bezos rag.

Plaintiffs charge that Secretary Noem preordained her termination decision and did so because of hostility to nonwhite immigrants. This seems substantially likely. Secretary Noem has terminated every TPS country designation to have reached her desk—twelve countries up, twelve countries down. See Section IV.A.2. Her conclusion that Haiti (a majority nonwhite country) faces merely “concerning” conditions cannot be squared with the “perfect storm of suffering” and “staggering” “humanitarian toll” described in page-after-page of the Certified Administrative Record (CAR). See Section IV.A.3.a. She ignored Congress’s requirement that she “review the conditions” in Haiti only “after” consulting “with appropriate agencies.” 8 U.S.C. § 1254a(b)(3)(A); see Section IV.A.1. Indeed, she did not consult other agencies at all. See id. Her “national interest” analysis focuses on Haitians outside the United States or here illegally, ignoring that Haitian TPS holders already live here, and legally so. See Section IV.A.3.b. And though she states that the analysis must include “economic considerations,” she ignores altogether the billions Haitian TPS holders contribute to the economy. See id.

Right at the top, Judge Reyes lays out her official findings, after reviewing the evidence. She says it is "substantially likely" that Secretary Noem's decision to end Haitian TPS was "preordained" and based on Secretary Noem's general "hostility to nonwhite immigrants."
