Love this! And is probably why ST has always been my preferred term. I’d also be interested in β€œcommunication & swallowing specialist”

Our first year MA SLP students at #CWRU gave the faculty nicknames on our name plates for April Fools Day based on our areas of research. I am pleased to have been designated Dr. Brainy Babble! #slp #csd

I love this, in our discussion we talked about how kids need to access all their vocabulary even cuss words (which goes with the idea of β€˜Freedom’), and not just things things that are β€˜Fun’. All people have the right to share all their emotions!

On my way to a very December #ASHA2024! Looking forward to giving a really fun talk with colleagues on how the F-Words for Child Development can be used by SLPs, especially for comm participation in kids with cerebral palsy! #bskySPEECHIES

β€˜Systematic reviews’ that aim to extract broad conclusions from many studies are in peril Fake papers are β€œpoisoning the well” for these gold-standard syntheses, researchers say

"... a manuscript posted to the Center for Open Science’s OSF preprint server in September suggests up to one in seven published papers are fabricated or falsified."

Did this manuscript have, perhaps, an author? Or did it rise sui generis from the septic fog?

After leaving X several months ago, I’ve shifted my attention away from social media altogether. I miss the academic social media community: the connections it makes and the conversations it inspires. I’m hoping to get back into it, starting with engaging on BlueSky more regularly!
