Повод за това се оказа прекъсването на сървърите на The Crew от страна на Ubisoft. Което беше поредна изява на гейм издател срещу собствеността. Целта на петицията беше ясна. Издателите да прекратят практиката да „убиват“ видеоигрите, когато си поискат. Същото, което се случи с игри, като Anthem и Concord. It's more than just access to entertainment. It's about the principle of if you buy something, you should be allowed to keep it, and the company which sold you what you bought shouldn't be allowed to destroy or remove it at any time, or the duration of access is specified upfront. Is that entitled?
