Yes - Mum knew it off by heart as well!

I keep stopping to admire this magnificent cherry - it’s one tree, not two and the trunk is to the far left (the thin ‘trunk’ in the middle is a downward-dipping branch). It’s a cloud of glory!

Lessons from ‘Letters to Loved Ones’ A project transcribing letters from WWII brought history to life.

I recently finished a 3-month project transcribing letters and documents for an IWM / DCMS project marking the 80th anniversary of VE / VJ Day.

It was a moving and fascinating project.

Happy St David's Day - and here's an absolutely gorgeous, emotional rendition of 'Calon Lân' (though I feel slightly sorry for the excited family, waiting for their kid's big telly moment, who discovered their child was dressed as a leek).
