i have made a quiet return to twitch recently with sekiro deathless attempts (+ no resurrections & no prosthetics, combat arts, ninjutsu, or consumables) and beat it after just five playthroughs! i guess this is my announcement that i am doing weekly streams now. new challenge starting this weekend!

I’ve been so busy with work and personal life but I’ve finally updated my carrd (link in bio) to include my personal Instagram and my new shop links. I miss y’all so much, I hope I have the energy to return to twitch even as a viewer at some point ❤️‍🩹

Hello, everyone. I am sorry for going silent with no warning, I really needed some time away from stream to reconnect with my immediate world and clear my head a bit. This is the most important and last “big” announcement I will make. I’m not really sure where to begin, so I will start with the TLDR: while on my impromptu hiatus this week, I was applying for jobs and have already been interviewed and accepted for a position back in the culinary world (luckily, specifically in confectionaries!). This means I will be taking a huge step away from streaming and Twitch. I don’t want to say I am quitting entirely, but my streams will be extremely sparse and sporadic, and when I say that I truly mean it. I have no idea when I might stream next. Stitchtember is effectively over in terms of taking on new squares to make. I will be whipping up the last ones and putting them all together at some point when I have the time. I will also still be selling my crochet stuff in October along with other handmade projects, maybe even candies or baked stuff eventually. I’ll be consolidating my socials a lot, once I do, I will make another post with where you can keep up with me. I know this probably seems unusually sudden. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to live solely off of streaming since I moved to Ohio and gotten settled here. While I have been quietly relying on this income to pay my bills, it has never been something I wanted anyone to feel obligated to support me in. Unfortunately, this summer things have taken a huge dip for me and I simply haven’t bounced back. I have been struggling majorly and depending on sham and my lines of credit more than is feasibly sustainable for much longer. I didn’t want to share my necessity in finding a job with you all, in order to discourage people from rallying in support so I could continue paying my bills through Twitch, it isn’t your responsibility to essentially bankroll me. The vast majority of us are struggling and I would feel horrible being this honest with you all while not having secured my fallback already. I wish I could commit to even once a week or a few times a month but I just can’t at the moment. As some of you have heard me talk about, I’ve been dealing with some health issues for the last year or so and all the medications I take make me extremely exhausted along with dealing with the physical and mental illnesses themselves. I am nervous for transitioning to working again with how unreliable my energy levels are and frankly, it’ll likely take me a long time to adjust if I can at all. I honestly would have already been working while streaming if this weren’t something I’m struggling with but as it has been and continues to stand, I only have the wherewithal for one commitment like this at a time. Maybe as I settle into my new schedule I will eventually be able to carve out a bit of time consistently but I don’t want to make any promises I cannot keep. As far as Discord goes, I’ll be keeping the server as it is for the next week or so if you would like to go back and archive anything and then consolidating down the channels, as I imagine things will be quite quiet here. I want to continue to hear from you all and keep up with you guys and will keep a general channel for that. And we will have the designated selfie/pet and food channels as well! Everything else will be going! I will be checking in here occasionally myself but uncertain streaming future aside, I have also been really emotionally benefitting from being entirely off of my computer most days. If you want to keep using my emotes, I obviously will be keeping them uploaded on my Twitch channel, or if you just want to continue supporting me, I would be majorly honored but I completely understand and encourage you to cancel your subscriptions to my channel and support other streamers who are putting in the time, effort, and entertainment for you actively if that is what you wish to do. You will probably see me occasionally in my streamer friends’ chats too! Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for being here and supporting me in all the ways you have, whether you have been watching for years or only recently. I just want to reiterate how lucky I feel to have been able to spend so much time with you for the last several years. I don’t use this word lightly but it has been a blessing to have such an amazing community here with you all when many spaces, and the world at large, can feel so toxic and uninviting. I appreciate it and more importantly, appreciate you, immensely. Until next time, hamon.
