I can't believe I've never shown this here before, but a bit more than a month ago, I've made an animatic for the first year of my Undertale comic : GASTER'S RETURN!

How long is this going to take to complete the story?

Long as hell, I have written a prologue and 3 chapters to finish the story, wish me luck

When will the next pages come out?

I try to make approximatively 5 pages every two weeks

Why is the comic separated into scenes?

The comic is organized like this, every new setting is a new scene. It's how I organize my writing and I wanted to make it explicit
(Also, makes it easier for researching)

Wait wait wait, does that mean there'll be KingDings in this AU? :0

Well, no. The main focus of this story won't be romance at all. But if you want to see romance, between them or any other characters, I can't stop you x) (As long as it's legal of course...)

How did you get the idea of making this AU?

I started to make some random drawings of Gaster and some KingDings (AsgorexGaster) sketches in April 2024, then some ideas began to come to me as I did those. I decided that I wanted to make something out of it for once, and here it is!

Is it an AU (Alternative Universe)?

Yep, it is an AU. But I want to keep it as close of the canon as possible, in order to really tell a story based on the game. But it won't be exactly the same of course, my own headcanons, and other interpretations for narrative purpose, will be in there as well

What are the main themes of this story?

The story will focus on the difficulties he will encounter about this return in a brand new world, searching for his place in this new setting, and letting go of the old one, while also putting some light on the impact it all had on people around him

What's the plot?

Everything's in the title, it's a story about Gaster returning from wherever he was after his accident that broke him between time and space. This story is set after the Pacifist ending, months after monsters have been freed from the Underground
