i feel this. mini cans are my preferred way because i truly don’t need a full can / bottle but the cost is a real downer.

but it’s not going to make the ATCs grow better weed. facilities have been expanding since 2020.

some of the points presented were a bit misleading and entirely benefit the ATCs

they couldn’t confirm they would go belly up and more so worried about the inability to expand.

growth is fine but there’s little to no benefit for patients.

This is robbery and people wonder why New Hampshire ATCs struggle.

100mg of edibles (20 5mg gummies) is $30.

a half gram vape of distillate (cheap concentrate) is $30.

200mg chocolate bar is $30

and 3.5g is $40. (they like to say under $40 but the actual cost is $39)

eh they don’t get a lot of help from the other side / the senate.

but i was never a fan for settling with one process while progressing through amendments.

NH’s definition of legalization shouldn’t just be commercialization.

they’ve introduced consumption penalties, restricted markets, legislation that would invite big cannabis businesses to operate in NH that’s been continuously voted down.

cannabis needs to be taken seriously and not just as a stepping stone for political careers.

i don’t blame democrats in new hampshire for not legalizing cannabis

it’s been doomed from the start.

i do blame democrats for the types of cannabis bills submitted that would do absolultey nothing in setting the consumer up for success.

and which is why the for profit legislation is only going to enable more large corporations to come into new hampshire medical.

the same way theory wellness took over temescal but no one knows about it.

i meant more so the big corporation aspect.

this is the same with weed!

i can’t call a dispensary nice that peddles horrible products to patients.

and yeah even if it happened whatever version won’t actually be legalization due to all the red tape.

but at least they have that overpriced dispensary

and if they can’t then it’s not really legal

everyone should be able to participate in legal cannabis

would love to see an amendment that would allow for home cultivation or even allow for some more competition in the medical market as well.

that and the removal of the charitable portion of the bill text.

if the ATCs were to be able to make this change what benefits could be kicked down to the patients?

if ATCs have positive assets could a fund be created that would waive the state fee for med cards?

and yeah agreed the bill would be more impactful if legalization was more of a reality which is why it seems more questionable to me. it would’ve made sense years ago but now it’s just questionable.

For profit doesn’t really do much for patients, it was thought that the change could bring prices down but we’ve seen decreases for sometime now, but quality remains lackluster.

Along with the fact that patients including the patient rep on the medical oversight board have testified against this legislation as increasing funding would only enable corporate interests from coming in exactly like theory wellness did with temescal wellness.
