The space to defend human rights is becoming more restricted, incl through the rising use of “foreign agents” laws, global funding cuts, as well as acts of transnational repression. EU Delegations across the world engage with HRDs to uphold the legitimacy of their work. #HRC61

Many persons across the world continue to face intolerance, discrimination, hatred, persecution and violence because of their religion or belief, or lack thereof. We work both at home & internationally to uphold this right, but there still is much to do. #HRC61

Today, the UN General Assembly votes on resolution on “Supporting lasting peace in Ukraine”.

Our objective is a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine based on the principles of the UN Charter and international law.
