The weather cracked 50 degrees today so I managed to do a big batch of priming before the humidity spiked (pretty sure rain is coming shortly)

22 rangers, 1 Chaffee, and some terrain fields.

Finally found some heads that'll work nicely to kitbash a BJ Blazkowicz model for my Bolt Action Americans. The plan is to make him as a Ranger duel wielding a Thompson SMG and a stolen MP40. Hopefully it'll be warm/dry enough to prime shit by the time the heads ship over 🥲

They started as cheap dollar store trees. I soaked em in water and scrubbed most of the fake snow fluff off of them, then spray primed em in dark brown. I hit em with some 3M super strength spray adhesive and then sprinkled the flocking on them.

That's awesome! I've definitely considered getting into pillage just to be able to make a Lithuanian themed force. Historically a very interesting and usually overlooked region.

Also 2-3 times a year for over adecade the crater was used for Holiday MTX fomo festivals. Don't tell me restoring the forest after 15 yrs and moving the memorial fountain to where the Crater was isn't more respectful to the lore than whatever the fuck this is.

Idk if this is a hottake over here, but the scale of things like the crater didn't make the gods feel bigger, or players more impactful, it made the world feel smaller. Idk I think sometimes simplicity is the better option, especially in the spot your new players are dropped for the first time.

That quest was nothing but bizarre choices. Then again that whole quest line felt like watching a film that had 3 or 4 directors rewriting and reshooting to fix and salvage the disheveled mess after the previous directors bailed.
