SPLATOON WSCS Orgs (Pick 5) IPL Dapple The Shoal Under Pressure Mulloway Sendou Every two months, have one org run one of each of these, starting from the 2nd weekend-4th weekend -Major, no floor/ceiling -SAC style, no dx -Low level, d5 cap * alternatively, for orgs that don’t have low level tournaments, just run a like “Platinum” a41 or SAC Winning ANY of these events (and only these events) qualifies a team for a spot in the WSCS finals in January. -Could also be top 2 for full majors * Could also award attendance to winners of major lans - Riptide, LTC, Genesis, biggest charity event of the year WSCS Finals: -18 or 24 teams, two-day groups—>top cut bracket -if you qualify once, winning another event means qualification goes to the next highest unqualified team. Teams that wish to qualify must play in at least 2-3 majors (at least 2-3 on same roster) * Top 2 qualification in full majors would make a 20-team tourney, with 10 top level teams, 5 midlevel, and 5 low level EXAMPLE SCHEDULE: Date Org Top level/midlevel/lowlevel February: IPL Superjump/SAC/Golden LI April: Shoal Golden FB//Golden LVLup/Golden A41 July: Dapple 20XX/restructured SJ/lowlevel September: UP. Top level/midlevel/Golden FTIU November: Sendou Sendouq major/picnic/other January of next year: WSCS FINALS This format basically takes the framework we’ve already built and turns it into an organized and interesting esports scene. - Succeeds in still highlighting low and midlevel while maintaining a focus on top level play - Can be optimized to include no new tournaments - Preserves org independence - Would be immediately hype - Many chances to qualify, so scheduling would not be an issue - Events all throughout the year
