Over thanksgiving, my 8 yo was given a project. To make a turkey into someone you’re thankful for. He didn’t choose his mom. He didn’t choose his dad. His dog, Grandma, Grandpa. He made the turkey into Josh Allen. We still have the Josh Allen turkey hanging on the fridge. We are all thankful for 17

I’ve been to the last 3 wildcard games in Buffalo. Bills beat New England 47-17. Bills beat miami 34-31. Bills beat Pittsburgh 31-17. Thanks to @zlanger.bsky.social I’ll be going to my fourth wildcard game in a row. Bills beat Broncos 37-17.

True. But the Bills Defense has trouble stopping offenses with multiple weapons. (See rams and ravens, even Detroit) Higgins, Chase, and Brown would carve up our D. We would need to be in a shootout. I don’t think we would have to put up 40 to beat the broncos or dolphins, but we may to beat Cinci.

Yep… but it would probably be Saturday or Sunday night. I’m fine with the dolphins in. Would prefer broncos, it’s hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. I want Cinci nowhere near the playoffs.

I said that earlier. Take a shot deep. Everyone in the stadium will be expecting a handoff. Run a little play action with Coleman on a go route. If it’s incomplete, who cares? Then Josh can take a seat.

I think the only way the bills lose is if the opposing offense can go toe to toe with Josh and our offense. Cinci can score. So can the ravens. I would most definitely rather see the broncos or even dolphins (less so, it’s hard to beat a team three times in a season) in the wildcard over Cinci.

I dunno if it’s delusion. Cincinnati is very similar to the rams I believe. A ton of offensive weapons, and they have very similar defenses. They are extremely close in DVOA. (See chart attached) The bills do have some issues stopping teams with a ton of different options. (Ravens and Rams)

I honestly don’t think so. I think him being on the practice squad is for 2 reasons. 1) to be a player/coach. Another coach in the DB room. 2) If we do (dare I say it) win The Super Bowl, he’ll get a ring with the Bills.

As for Hamlin vs bishop. I like
Bishop. He will be a good player, but he’s not ready yet. 1 thing that sticks out, Hamlin NEVER gets beat over the top. Bishop has. There are significantly less big plays w/ Hamlin playing.

Joe Andreeson - 26 snaps, led the team with 8 tackles. He’s raw. Has a lot to be coached in coverage. But he is a see ball get ball LB. He flashed on almost every play he was out there. Some against the Jets starters. We may have found a diamond in the rough.

Thanks for that blast from the past. Even though that was a dark time for the bills, they were still fun. I actually got my seasons in 2006. Loved them then with every bit of energy that I love them now.

I loved all three of the LBs then. Angelo Crowell, DiGiorgio, and Keith Ellison. We were all excited for Posluszny, who was pretty good as a rookie, but DiGiorgio came to play. I actually loved a lot of that defense. Jabari Greer, McGee, George Wilson, Whitner. Of course schobel and Kyle Williams.

Agreed. The other team gets paid too. They are all NFL players too. The chiefs are 14-1 living off of 1 score games. Take a W any way u can get it. Ur right, Elam is a liability. Bishop played better today, but you don’t realize how much Rapp, Hamlin, and Douglas do until u don’t have em out there.

I agree 100%. Ask Baltimore how division games are different. They lost to the browns. Any division win is a good one, no matter the records. A W is a W. 12-3… on to the Jets.
