Yue Qingyuan: Suppose, for a moment, that there was someone you cared about deeply. And you failed them... The cup in Yue Qingyuan's hands bears the same tree root design. The page grows darker as the talk progresses.

Three frames show the progression of a change. The first has Shen Qingqiu with a frown, his face partially hidden by Yue Qingyuan's dialogue bubble. The background is dark and twisted.
