The second is an amazing-looking tactical RPG for the Mega Drive/Genesis that combines elements of both Fire Emblem and Advance Wars called Langrisser (released as WarSong in the West).

There's no way to see to it in the game because of how the starting conversations are scripted, but Ultima VII actually had a line for Petre for if you talk to him before Iolo has had a chance to introduce you.

The pathfinding in the original game was very simple, and I think it found paths between chunk centers first, then to the destination inside the chunk. But yes, I wanted a new system due to the engine being 3D and movement being smoother.

Okay, so not only do I now have a job, but I have an absolutely adorable little minicomputer to do that job with. Seriously, I love mini PCs and this one is awesome.

One of the intentions is to make it clear to the player that this is now a 3D game, not a 2D game, and they'll be able to control the camera angles themselves.
