Matchday 1 is in the books with some very exciting matches! Two 0-0 draws in the Major league and two dominating performances from Hollywood and Schwarzwälder. In the Minors only one game had a differential of more than 1 goal with stoppage time heroics in Seoul to give the win

The Founders Shield winner has been crowned and Schwarzwälder FV avenged their S18 Cup Final loss against Reykjavik to win their second Shield trophy.
Later today we will see the start of the S19 season with both leagues starting off with Matchday 1. Links in bio!

Day two of the friendlies kicking off today with another set of games for Major and Minor teams.
The Academy is breaking records too with the largest draft class in league history and Matchday 2 for the young class is scheduled for tomorrow!

In group C, qualifying came down to goal differential with Norden edging out Central Europe after a win against Alpen while C. Europe drew against E. Europe.
Central America getting another undefeated record and Pyrenees winning the second spot with wins against USA and Asia respectively.

West Africa clinching the 1st spot with a win against Benelux and getting a top seed for the quarter final draws.
Group B was decided in the 75th minute where Oceania and Eurasia wins to keep their undefeated record!

The WSFC is moving on to its second day of friendlies today with a live broadcast at 14 EST of the final 8 games before the group stage kicks off. After a first day of surprises, the regions are looking to hone in on their tactics and get a feel for their opposition.

The World Simulation Football Classic is set to begin next week with 16 regions taking part in an international tournament for the second time in the SSL's history. The tournament will start off with two friendlies for each team, the first matchday on Monday seeing the following regions pair off!
