I’ve been really mentally struggling to perform at work bc I am so worried about my cat :(

we bought an air purifier and this is what my man said we should name it

other than going to the vet 4 times in the last 2 weeks, and going to my own doctor appointment, I literally have not left my house since January 9th.

he has not shown any signs of a UTI so I’m really hoping it stays that way and I can just go get the antibiotics on Monday 😭 my poor baby. dealing with all these currently invisible things 🥺

today I finally started to relax a bit and then the vet called. bacteria in his urine… should get antibiotics. except she called me after they closed, so she said we can get him antibiotics on Monday, but if anything happens over the weekend, don’t hesitate to take him to the emergency vet 😔 stress

closing my eyes when I see any acnh related content bc I want to be surprised when I finally log in to play with the update

he also has tooth resorption on 3+ teeth (again!), but bc of all these other issues plus the fact he’s 12 years old, anesthesia for tooth extraction is risky. it’s not fair. I love him so much. 😭

he can’t have an inhaler for the asthma bc steroids are bad for diabetes. the xrays & ultrasounds will cost like $800. need to get an at home glucose monitor ~ $300. may need to start insulin injections, but I’m really hoping it can maybe be managed by diet for now. I’ve been so distraught

on Tues I took him to the vet. find out he has a heart murmur, asthma, & they did blood work to check kidneys. bloodwork shows high blood glucose. took him back in for urinalysis. high glucose. my baby has diabetes 😭 need more testing to see if the heart murmur is a more serious problem…

so we moved to the new apartment in Oct right? and we are allowed pets here. so after 3 years of my cat living w my mom, he finally moved in with me for xmas. 3 weeks being here I notice some behaviours that are not usual for him & didn’t seem to be just environment adjustment related…

but at what cost

accidentally became important at work and now every day is stressful

I am having a rough day. I feel so burnt out lol :(

all birthdays, reminders, upcoming events, just everything is gone. tried to restore the only iCloud backup that was available from last night and it did nothing. incredible

my phone was acting weird this morning and wouldn’t unlock so I shut it off fully & restarted it and now all my calendar events have disappeared. looked it up online & seems to be a common issue, tried every solution I could find, and nothing is working 👍🏻

help I have no motivation

this past weekend we moved into our new place and I cannot even begin to explain how much my man and I love it. I’m so excited and happy.

our old place was so small it felt like we had too much stuff bc it was so crammed but everything fits in the new place how it comfortably should. I’m so happy!

we move to our new place in like 5 days 🥺 I’m so excited but also we have been reminiscing about the things we will miss at our current place. there is more that we won’t miss though lol

I have the urge to reset, but what stops me is I will never ever have time to grind like I did during lockdown ever again, and so I’ll never ever have all the stuff or extra space in my house or storage space ever again lol

rest in peace to the time when I had the motivation to play acnh. now I just log in when I miss it, run around my island, see how out of control the flowers are and unfinished areas I’d love to finish, and then get overwhelmed and immediately log out 💔
