This film fills the same niche as 99p Teen Horror novels at The Works do, when you're at the age you can inhale anything if it's got "Supernatural" somewhere on the cover. I might as well critique the latest pop sensation. I mostly didn't like it because it's not for me, and thats cool.

Cellar Door (2024) is a waste of 97 minutes that could have been 45 and still need a rewrite. It was three starting ideas wrapped together with sticky tape, with the best being the touching pregnancy drama making things almost tasteless. The end effect: it looked smug whilst wasting its potential.

"Wuthering Heights"(2026) is a fantastic combination of gothic-drama, costume-drama, psychological horror, kids TV shows, bonk buster, and German Expressionism. It's a fantastic blast of big-budget feminist strange cinema and a feast for the eyes. Kate Bush would approve.

To me, Trash Humpers (2010) is a laugh-a-minute experimental absurdist black comedy, giving us a hypnotic view into a world of old-aged delinquents. Offering no answers, it let's you find meaning & reflection in juxtaposition.

Everyone else thought it was crap, but bonded over the group trauma.
