• Latex is used a lot for fashion by models or popstars and it was honestly intimidating trying to learn how to start; I hope this guide breaks down that worry and is able to help!

8️⃣ Want to get more?
• Made to measure pieces! For that perfect fit
• Chlorination! An option for easier wear & storage with a smoother feel
• IRL stores like Liberation London are amazing, friendly places to try on pieces

7️⃣ Storage!
• Now your piece is clean & dry, there's a risk of sticking to itself (Bad news)
• Coat it in a layer of dressing aid/talcum powder (both inside & outside).
• Place in a bag!

6️⃣ How do I clean it?
• Latex needs totally different care from normal clothes
• Wash the piece in lukewarm water to help clean remove sweat and shiner
• Use unfragranced soap/cleaner (important)
• Leave it to air dry completely, away from sunlight!

5️⃣ Learn how to wear your first piece!
• You'll need both dressing aid and shiner! (Vivishine, BeGloss, Pjur are all good brands)
• Apply the dressing aid to the skin to help the latex slide on
• Apply the shiner on the piece itself to bring out its shine

4️⃣ Start small!
• Make sure you enjoy the feel before diving in, start smaller and build up
• I reccomend a pair of opera-length gloves, these are often the cheapest option to start with (Mine were £20)

3️⃣ Where do I buy?
• If a deal seems too good to be true, it is. Be wary of scams
• I've had great experiences with both Libidex and SkinTwo / Honour Clothing

2️⃣Get your measurements!
• Important to get accurate measurements
• Latex is usually higher than your usual shirt size
• I usually round up to ensure a comfortable fit

• Make sure you don't have an allergy before you spend a fortune on a dress
• It'll cause you to sweat, a LOT (it'll be tight😆)
