Yes, from 1973-1976 The Super Friends ran one season, and then in repeats. The Junior Super Friends were the non-powered characters of Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog. When the series got renewed in 1977, it became the "All New" Super Friends, and the Wonder Twins were added.

Favorite DC Character? Mine is a package deal. From the time they debuted in Super Friends, I've always liked the Wonder Twins. I enjoy the concept of teen heroes learning the ropes, their relationship, and the limitation of their powers of needing to come into physical contact.

If the Wonder Twins could be successfully rebooted, why not Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog?
Not sure what capacity they would be used in, but as long as it's in some legit way, I don't see why not.
Zan is currently in Aquaman, and writer Jeremy Adams says he has plans for Jayna as well.

You mean my profile pic? I've always been a fan of the Wonder Twins, and loved their 2019 maxi-series! Russell's story and Byrne's art made it great!

Wendy, Marvin & Wonder Dog were created to be "point of view" characters for younger viewers, and were basically Scooby Doo rip offs. They only appeared on the first season of the Super Friends cartoon, and the first 9 issues of the comic book, with a guest appearance in issue 26 of Super Friends.

I was a huge fan of the cartoon, had no idea a comic was released until issue #14 hit the stands. I was at a flea market, and one of the booths had the spinning rack, and I saw the comic there, announcing the "Origin of the Wonder Twins", and I had to have it. Got all issues, and the hard covers.

The comic versions are better. While I Liked them in the cartoon, they were used for comic relief, and were written to make a lot of odd choices and stupid mistakes.

In the comics, they didn't have to say the phrase. In one of the issues where there was a Wonder Twins solo tale at the end, Zan & Jayna were on a class trip to a museum & couldn't say it out loud without giving away who they were, so they touched fists and Zan thinks "it's the thought that counts"
